INFJ Confession 1598) Wahhh, a friend of 7 years (of the opposite sex) has been acting kind of weird lately. He just asked me to dinner — his treat — at a fancy restaurant! My intuition is sending me a lot of red flags about this situation, but I’ve been wrong about guys so much lately that I no longer trust my intuition in this aspect of life :/

  1. katiacambia said: I agree. I know communication between myself and INFJs often go wonky, so I frequently repeat my understanding back to make sure I got it right. Maybe joke, “ooooh you’re taking me on a date!” if it’s too awkward to ask outright?
  2. jillamy said: Well - you could always ask! I’ve found that to curb a lot of misunderstandings it’s a good idea to ask questions! Sometimes it’s a little awkward given that we INFJs don’t want to step on toes but…it’s always a good idea to communicate! :)
